Parents of the inmates are contacting VYDP offices saying that they have seen a change in their children after they have joined the programme. Inmates are starting going back to school because we have trained them in skills like Goal Setting; they needed to go back to school so that they can be able to pursue their careers according to their potentials.Former inmates that have been part of our programme whilst they were in Correctional Centres – after they have been released they went through needs analysis – then they went to EastCape Training Centre for training in Construction trades – then currently they are employed two in Coega, two in International Thermo Dynamics and one in Spot-On Plumbers.
