Strengths:

Our organization has six full time staff members who are both professional trainers and office bearers of the organization with valid and reliable qualifications and six field workers.We have four accredited Assessors and two accredited ModeratorsWe have a fully fledged Board of DirectorsWe have installed pastel express accounting system for financial accountability purposes.We have a good working relationship with schools in the Eastern Cape.We have established good relationships with Provincial Government Departments.We have a good relationship with DCS Regional Office and all the correctional centres of the Eastern Cape Province.We have reliable and professional accountants.We have a credible financial track record.We have a SETA accreditation status.

 

Weaknesses:

The need for a full time researcher to help us design new programmes and to update the existing programmes.We don’t have adequate funding and this limits our ability to reach marginalized youth and it makes the implementation of the programmes almost impossible.

 

Opportunities:

Due to the good relationships and the networks we have established there is a great possibility of other resourceful support systems.Our programmes have a potential to be supported by the government and by international agencies, due to the nature and quality of our programmes.Capacity building courses to improve the quality of our work.

 

Threats:

Resistance from some communities, sectors and institutions.There is a lack of organized structures to implement our programmes.Lack of funds to sustain our programmes.Lack of support from some government institutions.
